Teigan's Book Review

Amelia Jane Again

Author: Enid Blyton
Illustrator: Deborah Allwright

This story takes place in a baby nursery. The toys in the nursery are having a party without Amelia Jane because she has been very mean to them.  They take off their shoes so they can go in the doll’s house and do some baking and dancing.

While they are dancing, Amelia Jane sneaks up and takes their shoes and stuffs them down a mouse hole. Then Amelia Jane rushes to a dark corner and pretends to read. The toys stop dancing and go to put their shoes and socks on but they aren’t there. They look around very puzzled.

Amelia Jane did not tell them what she had done until the next night. One by one, she brought the shoes out but the mice had chewed the shoes up. Amelia Jane was so sorry to see what had happened.

I recommend this story to people who like kids and toys.
