Zero Waste Education

Today Sandra from Zero Waste Education visited our school. She talked about refuse, reusing, and recycling.

We discovered that black sand is magnetic. We thought it looked fluffy on the end of the magnet. Black sand is a natural resource that we use to make steel cans. If you recycle steel cans (once you have emptied the can, washed the can, and then squashed it) they can be made into buildings and bridges.
